Blast From The Past.

This is an illustration I did for an upcoming Anime Festival here in Costa Rica. The singer who did the Spanish versions of many many animated TV shows will be the closing act of the event: Memo Aguirre, aka Captain Memo. So I was commissioned to create this image with some of the most iconic shows he worked his magic on. It was both a pleasure and an honor to be hable to work in such artwork. Instead of making my own versions of the characters I went for the original character designs and the animated style, but also decided to give the characters a little "enhanced / remastered" finish, I wanted it to feel classic as those shows are in the memory of all the fans. I had a blast drawing this piece using a very broad color range with a lot of characters (most of them I drew for the first time ever), hope you like it :)
